In compliance with the advancement of the university, the library is aiming at collecting the latest academic information and police artifacts to enrich the collection and to fulfill the roles and functions of the library and the World Police Museum.
In accordance with the university's organizational regulations, the library is in charge of the collection of teaching and research materials and the provision of information services. With the goal of researching criminal justice, public safety and police science and technology, and cultivating specialists in law and order related fields," the goal of the Central Police University Library has been formulated. All relevant Chinese and foreign language academic books, journals, periodicals, and electronic materials are included in the library to satisfy the teaching, research, and reading needs of all students and faculty, and to become the most professional library in Taiwan for academic literature on law and order and police. In addition, the World Police Museum has been set up to collect police artifacts and open to the public to enhance international police academic research and exchanges.
