The National Central Library (NCL) held the "2022 Taiwan's Academic Impact Awards" ceremony to encourage people from all walks of life to authorize their periodical literature and academic dissertations, as well as to share research results with the public, which disseminates knowledge more widely.

Through the combined efforts of faculty and students, Central Police University (CPU) was given the honor of winning both the 2022 Taiwan's Academic Impact Awards Academic Dissertation Communication Award—Full Text Authorization Rate: First Place in National University and the Academic Dissertation Disclosure Award—Full Text Downloaded Rate: Third Place in National University. The aforementioned awards were calculated based on the total number of electronic full-text schools authorized prior to 2021 and the 2021 authorization rate and downloaded rate. The award presentation took place in NCL's International Conference Hall on March 28, 2022.

CPU received this honor based on statistical tools from the "National Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations in Taiwan." The ranking for the "Full-text Authorization Rate of Academic Dissertation Communication Award" was established using the ratio of "Number of Authorized Full-text in 2020 Academic Year" to "Total of Dissertations in 2020 Academic Year." The rankings for the "Full-text Downloaded Rate of Academic Dissertation Disclosure Award" were determined using the percentages of "Total Downloaded Times of Electronic Full-text in 2021" and "Total Authorization of Electronic Full-text Over the Years."

CPU was honored to receive two certificates of merit for "Taiwan's Academic Impact Awards" from NCL. This not only highlighted the outstanding work of the CPU Library in advancing open educational resources and enhancing the usefulness of archival academic dissertations, but it also praised the highly regarded and cited research findings of CPU's doctors and masters in related fields.
